「~するつもりである」という意味での、最も一般的な表現です。

例文:

今日は午後11時までにこのプランを完成させるつもりだ。

 

intend to do : ~することを意図している

intend to

強い意図・意志を表す場合に用いられる表現で、少し格式ばった言い方になります。

例文:
She intends to get married next year.
彼女は来年結婚するつもりでいる。

They have no idea what I intend to do.
私が何をするつもりか彼らは知らない。

mean to do : ~する意図がある

mean to

intend to と同じような意味ですが、少し弱い意味合いで口語的な表現となります。

例文:
I didn't mean to do that.
私はそうするつもりは無かった。

I meant to get you the bicycle.
私はあなたに自転車を買ってあげるつもりだった。

 

plan to do : ~する予定です

plan to

特に計画性を強調する場合に用いられる表現です。

例文:

She plans to travel with her parents next week.
