話し言葉／書き言葉の使い分け

「言う・話す・しゃべる」の類語

「言う・話す・しゃべる」という動詞も良く使いますね。
本当に良く使う動詞の代表ではないかと思います。

この単語においても類語は非常に多く、さらに「話し言葉」と「書き言葉」に分かれています。

良く使われる言葉であるだけに、その使い分けについて良く知っておき、正しく使い分けるようにしたいものですね。

話し言葉

say, tell, speak, talk, call, mean, give, repeat, name, mention,
go, ask, suggest, express, insist, spout, whisper, pronounce,add,

日常会話で良く使われるものです。

書き言葉

小説や論文などに使われる単語です。

使用例

◇彼は真実を言っていない。
　→He is not telling the truth.

◇口一杯に食べ物をほおばってしゃべるな。
　→Don't speak with your mouth.

◇彼はまじめに物を言っていない。
　→He is not talking seriously.

◇こんなものを夕食と言うのか！
　→You can't call this dinner!

◇生徒達に教室に入るように言った。
　→She calloed the students into the classroom.

◇ほめ言葉のつもりで言ったんだ。
　→I meant it as a compliment.

◇この絵の感想を言ってください。
　→Please give me your impression of this picture.

◇希望価格を言ってください。
　→Please name the price.

◇人に言えるほどの趣味はありません。
　→I have no hobby worth mentioning.

◇ことわざが言っているように。
　→As the saying goes, ～

◇彼に部屋を掃除してくれと言った。
　→I asked him to clean the room.

◇この幸せは言葉では言えない。
　→I cannot express how happy I am.

◇馬鹿な冗談を言うな。
　→Don't make [say,break] a stupid joke.
